Sultana Parvanta, Ph.D.,
born in Afghanistan, began teaching for the Peace Corps at the age
of 18 before arriving in the U.S. to complete a Master's degree, a
Specialist degree, and a Ph.D with emphases in organizational
transformation, leadership and policy studies, and human
development.
Serving as Director of California Leadership Training Center for Communities In Schools, she is on the adjunct faculty of California State University at Monterey Bay. Sultana as formerly with Emory University and Johns Hopkins, and is certified as a Mediator and Facilitator. She blends her deep intellectual core with a passion for other ways of knowing, including 15 years of teaching Yoga and practicing Qi Gung. She brings great heart to her work - and loves to play!
Elise received the coveted International ATHENA award for her excellence in business, in unison with community service and the mentoring of professional women. She is sought after as a consultant, trainer, seminar leader, and keynote speaker. Her belief in the essential need to feed the soul in the workplace was recently featured in the book When Money isn't Enough. She leads renewal seminars for women professionals. Her work has been hailed as inspirational, transformational, and deeply engaging. |
